Where Will My Financial Gift Being Going?

Below is a video that informs us of where our financial gift for the NCC Christmas Party will be going. If you can't make the party, but would still like to give you can. Just indicate on a check that it is for Kenya or put cash in an envelope marked for Kenya and drop it in the offering on a Sunday. Thanks for your generosity!

REMINDER! The Party is this Friday!

On Friday, December 11th at 6 pm we will be celebrating Christmas together. This year we will gather at Central Lutheran for dinner, live music, games and much, much more. We ask that you bring a donation to help support our churches in Kenya. They have suffered greatly from famine and an unstable political situation. Every penny of your donation will go directly to the churches on the ground.

We will have a kids program as well! The kids will eat dinner with their parents and then head into one of the kids rooms.

Please feel free to invite friends and family!

RSVP here.

Unusual Sunday Issues!

As you may know, Central Lutheran is used by a few different churches. This can create some difficult scheduling issues. We have one this Sunday! There is a wedding scheduled at 4 pm in the main sanctuary. This doesn't affect us too much, but it does affect our parking situation. We would ask that no one would park in the church parking lot or the immediate block. I know this may create some problems. Consider carpooling and leaving closer spaces available to people with special needs and small kids.

Thank you for understanding! Ironically, I will preaching from Ephesians 5:21-33 on marriage! I plan on taking a few weeks to fully cover the topic. This may be a great opportunity to invite dating couples, engaged couples, or your married friends! Also, this is definitely for singles as they need to know what marriage is before they can pursue it. If you are in the category of never getting married... this will be good for you as you know people who are married. I think that covers all the bases!

By the way, don't forget that Saturday is the Alpha Holy Spirit sessions. We will start at 9 am and go until about 12 noon at 711 St. Helens. Lunch will be served!

A BIG Morning of Worship, Prayer and the Lord's Supper

This Sunday morning we will gather at 711 St. Helens for a time of worship, prayer and the Lord's Supper. Some of you know that we are currently in the final stages of negotiations for a downtown meeting space. The building is 6,000 square feet and would serve all out meeting needs at this time as well as give us a place to base the mission out of. This will obviously be a topic of prayer and discussion on Sunday morning.

We will start at 10 am and go until 11:30 am. Childcare will be available, parents will be asked to sign up for a 20 minute time slot in the kids room.

Please come along as we move forward together and declare God's goodness and our dependence on Him!
